During Law School, Mr. Beecher spent a summer term clerking at the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals for Commercial Matters for the Circuit of the Federal Capital, Buenos Aires, Argentina. While there, he took a crash course on the Argentine civil code, and applied it to a live dispute before the Court between Pepsi and two of its local distributors. He drafted the Court's opinion in that case, and retains a thorough knowledge of legal Spanish.
Upon graduation, Mr. Beecher returned from Colorado to Seattle, and began his legal career at the firm of Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson. He spent two years as an associate there, acquiring a practical knowledge of everything from commercial litigation to personal injury law.
Mr. Beecher joined the firm of Hackett Beecher & Hart in 2003. Here, he continues his focus on commercial litigation. With a firm grounding in business concepts, formalized with an MBA, he represents clients ranging from construction contractors, to insurance companies, to franchises, and more.
Mr. Beecher is admitted to practice before all Courts in the State and Federal systems in Washington. He has successfully argued a number of appeals, some of which individually represented millions of dollars at stake, and contributed to the body of law in a way that has positively influenced the way his clients do business in the future. He was selected as a Rising Star by Washington Law & Politics in 2008 - an award given to the top 5 percent of lawyers practicing less than ten years.
